India, August 23,2024 : This story begins in 2009,
when a visionary named Milan Hans established a company named Smartway Media
Pvt. Ltd., which provided website design, logo creation, and online marketing
services worldwide. But their destiny had some other plans. A normal conversation
sparked an idea that was going to change Indian education.
Around 2:30 AM, Milan and Kawalpreet
Singh (the co-founder of Class On) were having a conversation where they talked
about the potential of digitalizing school management. And all of a sudden,
Milan realized there was a loop in the school market; that is how schools
struggle to maintain proper communication with parents. This idea of covering
the loop hole gave birth to Class ON.
From
Concept to Reality
Making the idea a reality was not easy
and was filled with many challenges. For the initial capital, Milan made a
personal sacrifice by selling his car and borrowing some funds from his father.
With passion and determination to change the schools, Milan and his team,
Kawalpreet Singh, Jashan Hans, and Harman Singh, began their work in 2016 for
their dream project.
For the first three years of the
beginning, there were numerous challenges that came their way. Slow progress,
pandemic, shrinking client base. Although they went through all this, they
didn’t give up and worked on their dream to make it better. Milan, with his
team, assembled a new development team to improve the user interface and to
re-launch the platform in 2020 with a new features & modules.
