Mumbai :  Milind Soman, India’s iconic supermodel and fitness advocate, successfully concluded the Unity Run 3.0 today at the historic Vasai Virar Fort, covering an extraordinary 240 kilometers barefoot. The run, which began in Pune on August 10th, was a powerful tribute to India's 78 years of Independence, symbolizing the unity, resilience, and enduring spirit of the nation.

As Milind Soman reached the final destination, he reflected on the journey with a sense of accomplishment and pride. "This run has been a testament to the strength and unity that defines our nation. Each step taken has been in honor of India's resilience and the unbreakable spirit of its people. Facing heavy rains along the way only reinforced my commitment to this cause, reminding me that our unity is our greatest strength. I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey, and I am proud to have been part of such a significant celebration of our Independence," said Soman.

The Unity Run 3.0, supported by Ampere Nexus and Lifelong, passed through culturally significant locations such as Lonavala, Panvel, and Vashi, each representing Maharashtra's rich heritage. The run was not just a physical challenge but an opportunity to bring together diverse communities under shared values of health, wellness, and national pride.

Throughout the journey, community engagement activities were a highlight, with residents from various towns and villages participating in fitness initiatives and interacting with Milind Soman. These activities promoted physical well-being while reinforcing the core message of unity and perseverance that the run embodies.

The Unity Run, which began in 2021, has grown into a powerful symbol of determination and national pride. Over the past three years, Milind Soman has covered more than 1,100 kilometers, inspiring countless individuals across the country. The first Unity Run saw him traverse 420 kilometers from Mumbai to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat, while the second edition in 2022 took him 450 kilometers from Jhansi to the Red Fort in Delhi, with a special focus on promoting women’s empowerment.
