Jaipur, India,
November 07, 2024: Be Me, a female hygiene
care brand committed to empowering women and girls through their organic period
care essentials, recently joined UNIMO's community of Moms at their event in
Mumbai's Axo Bar & Kitchen. Be Me created a hub for conversation and education
by setting up their booth and engaging in meaningful conversation with mothers
about health & well-being.
Palak Garg & Isha Tilokani, representing
Be Me, showcased a range of organic and eco-friendly period care products,
including organic sanitary pads made of bamboo fiber and cotton and reusable
period panties. The community expressed their interest in innovative reusable
period panties, sparking insightful discussions about hygiene, convenience, and
reliability.
At the event, Be Me stressed the critical need
for open communication and education about menstruation, especially for young
girls. 'Mom, Period & Conversations', a video series by Be Me, was found to
be a helpful tool for Mothers to navigate challenging conversations with their
daughters. UNIMO's founder 'Neha Kanabar,' spoke to the team and shared her
experience with organic sanitary pads, highlighting their effectiveness in
addressing common concerns such as rashes and irritation.
"Connecting with UNIMO's influential
community of mothers has been an invaluable experience," says Palak Garg
(Social Media Head at Be Me). "This partnership has allowed us to gather
insights, share our mission, and empower women and girls through sustainable
period care. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a more open
and informed dialogue around menstruation."
By engaging with UNIMO's vast network of
mothers, Be Me is amplifying its message of period positivity and promoting a
more sustainable and empowered approach to menstrual health. This collaboration
underscores the brand's dedication to creating a positive impact on women's
lives and fostering a more supportive and informed community.
