Assam, India, September
20, 2024:
Assam-based start-up ‘TopCan Beverages’ won the ‘Best Concept’ award at the 6th
edition of the Food Connoisseurs India Convention. The event was held in Delhi
on September 11 and 12, 2024.
The national-level award
was received by co-founders Ronak Jaiswal and Nishchay Kaura. The 24-year-old
founders came up with the idea when they were in college.
TopCan Beverages won this
award on the basis of their unique concept. This startup gives you access to
drinking your choice of cocktails in a unique can. Along with a range of
classic flavours they also have an extended line of Indian flavours that can be
enjoyed without alcohol.
The Food Connoisseurs
India Awards (FCIC) recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in the
Indian Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. Held across regional editions,
they honor individuals and establishments across various categories, from chefs
and restaurants to innovative food products and sustainable practices.
While expressing this,
Nishchay Kaura, founder of TopCan, said, “It gives us immense joy for our brand
and concept to be recognised at a national level. Credit goes to the team who
have put in relentless efforts to keep pushing TopCan towards the Top. As a young
co-founder we are very enthusiastic to utilise the opportunity presented to us
and make the best of our resources to build a solid foundation for our brand.
Only onwards and upwards from here!”
Where as co-founder Ronak
Jaiswal said, “We’re thrilled to have won this award. It’s a proud moment for
us to see an Assam-based brand making its mark on the national stage. We want
to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us on this journey.”
